The Stoke Repertory Theatre is available for short term hire, which includes the services of stage crew, lighting and sound technicians, along with front of house staff including bar and coffee bar. The theatre is available for hire by visiting companies when not required by the Repertory Players for their season of six main plays, studio productions and the annual Young Rep production. The season runs from September to July and on average there are approximately fifteen to seventeen weeks during the season when the theatre is available for hire. A hire period normally covers one week from Sunday to Saturday, although part weeks or days can be booked. Individual areas within the theatre (e.g. the foyer and bar, or the rehearsal room) can be hired separately, subject to availability. Theatre Facilities 235 seat capacity auditorium 2 dressing rooms Foyer, box office, coffee bar and licensed bar Acting stage: area 8m x 8m approx plus extended apron 24 motorised digitally controlled flying bars 13 hemp bars Motorised revolving stage - controllable speed and direction Black legs - borders - red legs; borders - gold legs - borders Cyclorama, black gauze, white gauze 96 channel lighting rig with Strand 530i lighting desk Standard 6 Colour Show Rig consisting of 100 plus lanterns of varying types Soundcraft mixing desk, Nexo FOH speakers (2 x 450w) Twin CD player, twin cassette player, Mini-Disk player, sound editing PC & CD Writer   What's included in a typical weeks hire? All the above plus: "Get In" - one 9 hour period up to 10:00 pm. (includes 1hr crew break) Stage, auditorium and 2 dressing rooms Lighting technician, sound technician and fly/revolve technicians Performance evenings - FOH supervisor, foyer, box office and fully staffed bar   Additional facilities available Stage Manager + additional crew Large rehearsal room (additional dressing area) Haze & smoke machines, low foggers, UV/Mirror Ball Handheld radio mics Third party hire of additional lighting & sound equipment and pyro-technics with trusted and reliable suppliers can be arranged - all costs will be charged to hirer The Repertory Theatre is now provisionally booked until July 2010 with the exception of the following: 2010 Sunday May 30th 2010 - Saturday June 5th 2010 Sunday July 25th 2010 - Saturday July 31st 2010 [Updated 21st August 2008]   Due to cancellation the following week has now become available: Sunday 2nd to Saturday 8th November 2008 How do I check availability and costs?
