There is a fine church, a well stocked shop and post office and a pub which serves excellent food. Rutland Sailing Club and the Rutland Water Fishing Lodge are within walking distance and the beautiful towns of Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford are a short drive away. So whether you enjoy walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, bird watching or just want to get away from it all, Postbox Cottage offers you a warm welcome to the beautiful county of Rutland. Set in the heart of the village, the cottage boasts a light and airy open plan living and dining room, with fully fitted kitchen, while upstairs the low beams and sloping ceilings of the original bakery have been preserved.
